My brothers, did you all properly see this ( sodaranmare )

Sloka

Duryodhana, after attending Rajasuya yaga and sending the women and their parents back to his palace, saw with envy and spite the beautiful palace of the Pandavas built by Mayan and spoke thus to Dussasana and his other brothers.

Duryodhana:

My brothers, did you all properly see this

beautiful palace that has made our enemies very happy

In this whole world there will not be another beautiful

place such as this; no arguments about it

Emerald, gold and ruby-encrusted walls

Rows of structures clad in mirrors. What wonder!

The artificial moon and stars

look amazingly real

Not just that, the floors are paved with jewels

Even Lord Vishnu’s abode will bow before this.
