O son of Kusika, crown of sages

Story Play (Attakkatha):
King Janaka, with much enthusiasm, soon had his servants bring the Thryambakam bow, which shines like the sun, to the chamber and respectfully addressed the Sage thus.
O son of Kusika, crown of sages, world-renowned,
most tactful and with malice towards none
This is the bow famous over the three worlds
many are the kings striven to lift it and lost out
Though merely a boy, if he is smart
let him lift it, string it and break it
