Sloka:

As Krishna and Arjuna stayed happily together in Dwaraka, a Brahmin suffered the deaths at birth of his eight children in eight years. When the ninth son also died, the Brahmin came to the royal court with the dead body of the infant and wailing loudly spoke thus.

In order that even the sound of the anklets are not heard, maintaining the gentlest of feet movements,  pausing frequently so as to control breath, in constant fear of danger, yet with eagerness to move further, Rambha, clad in a blue satin, Rabha was observed by Ravana and the latter spoke thus.

Father, - by your words, my grief has been removed comparatively -  in the mind – hey the powerful, However, a thought is germinating now

Protect me, Protect me, Save me, as appropriate, Protect me,. Protect me

By my being separated from them – Yudhishtira etc. must be anxiously living – What do I do?

Sloka:

Hearing about Urvashi’s curse and resultant trouble caused to Arjuna, Indra came and consoled the former

Do not be sad, now, hey great one, the lamp of Manu dynasty.  Be courageous in mind.  This curse shall be rendered appropriate and in your favour

The Urvashi-delivered curse – would be of use to you – hey, the gem of earth and the one who kills the pride of foes

During the period of exile, you shall undergo this curse – hey learned one, no doublt about that

In private, go near him, convey your grievance

The smile – that is like honey – when you shower than, hey gorgeous, he would fall for you

To stay in forest – for that you had the fate – that is just ill-fate

Lord Krishna’s mercy – due to that, hey valorous, good will happen to you soon
