Oh! My darling, you have gone to the land of death,
hey handsome, leaving me behind?
 
Why would I remain alive
immersed in the sorrow in this forest.

At that time, The weapon that adorns the right hand of Lord Vishnu and the one like an iron rod and the one who is immersed in blood of proud demons and hence red, and the one who shone like a million suns at the end of the world, and by name “chakram” approached Krishna and praised.

Hey Madhava, the killer of demon Mura, the one who  incarnated as a whale,
the one who lifted Mount Mandara, the one who lifted the earth,

PITY! ALAS! The sons of Dhritarashtra

Sloka:
At that time, the one who was shivering in anger, the Supreme Lord, with shaking eye-brows, signaling danger to foes, Krishna spoke these words.

 

PITY! ALAS! The sons of Dhritarashtra have done–

the crookedness– by hearing that  who could tolerate –

PITY! ALAS!

 

The vicious Duryodhanan came – 

with great envy and tied up (Bheema) and

gave poisoned food,

showed various other cruelties – If one thinks! too much – PITY!

 

No fault of enimies when, 

kinsmen don't feel shame.

I will be present on the flag of your respected brother..

I will be present on the flag of your respected brother Arjuna.
 
From there, I will destroy the enemies with my ferocious roar.
 
 
References:
After the verses Hanuman advises the strategies to be adopted to reach Vaisravana’s Mansarovar, to win over the Yaksha troupes and obtain water lillies. Bheema, with a bit of hesitation, requests to return his club entrapped in the tail.  Hanuman hands over.  Bheema bids farewell.

The world-destroying Ravana – His city was burnt – by the great soul

By that son of wind – by name Hanuman – not knowing him – who could there be? Oh! God

Evil mind, without wasting time, go away, fat monkey, from the way, evil minded

 

 

References:

After the verses, Hanuman requests Bheema to remove the tail and cross the way.  Bheema tries to move the tail.  Finding it immovable, tries again.  Unable, the club gets trapped in the tail.  Bheema looses hold of the club and falls back.

Men and gods together

Men and gods – together they come against –

even then, I have no fears.

 

I'm the able son of wind  – 

without knowing that – do not utter madness – as if to cowards

Evil-minded, without delay, go away, hey large monkey, from the way.

the one who is merciless to enemies; nomble minded;
